The daughter of prominent Philippine immigrants (originally her father was the Philippine ambassador to Canada), Lisa was raised in the Canadian capitol of Ottawa; there she spent her privileged childhood in the company of foreign dignitaries, politicians and news reporters. This is where her love of journalism began. After completing her undergrad from the Carleton university school of journalism, Lisa was accepted into the UCLA School of journalism where she acquired her master’s degree. Lisa was recruited, after graduation, by the Channel 11 news director. This news director was the sister of a top television executive who also took a special interest in Lisa’s career, although this would prove pointless as the world fell. (But this would not be the last time Lisa and the TV executive meet). Lisa was immediately put in the field reporting on the most critical events. One of her most compelling stories was a series of interviews with two professors – a duo of brothers who were regarded as the foremost experts on rare Judeo-Christian doctrine. However, their status had significantly diminished since Lisa’s story series had qualified them as the forerunners of a crackpot movement claiming that the end of the world was imminent and only months away. Lisa’s last news report came on “the day” when she recounted the details of the instructions that the chosen ones were to follow, she has not been seen since that day, she is presumed dead, but that is not the case.
